“When he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion…”

📖 Luke 15:11–32

Jesus told the story of a father with two sons. The younger one asked for his inheritance early and went far away, wasting it all on a reckless life. When he lost everything, he was hungry and decided to return home, thinking he no longer deserved to be called a son.

But when he was still a long way off, his father saw him and ran to him, embraced him, and kissed him. The son said, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you."

But the father ordered the best robe to be brought, a ring, sandals, and prepared a feast.

“This son of mine was dead and has come back to life; he was lost and has been found.”

💬 A message for you

This story is not just a parable. It is a reflection of the heart of God.

The Heavenly Father loves you with a love that does not give up, does not get tired, and is not ashamed of you.

Maybe you have drifted away, wasted your life, or think you no longer deserve to return. But today, the Father is waiting for you. Not with reproaches, but with mercy.

He runs towards you, hugs you, and calls you daughter.

No matter how far you have gone. The love of the Father is greater than your sin. Jesus Christ opened the way for you to return. He paid the price on the cross so that you may have eternal life. Open your heart to God and pray these words with faith:

“Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I have strayed away from You.

I have sinned and I need Your forgiveness.

Thank you for loving me, for waiting for me, and for giving me a new chance.

Today I return home. Welcome me as Your daughter.

Thank you for sending Your Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross out of love for me. Amen.” 🙌
