“Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
📖 Acts 16:25–34
Pablo and Silas were unjustly imprisoned in Philippi. At midnight, they prayed and sang hymns to God, and the other prisoners listened to them. Suddenly, a great earthquake shook the prison: the doors opened and the chains were unfastened.
The jailer, upon seeing the open doors, thought that all the prisoners had escaped and wanted to take his own life. But Pablo shouted to him, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here.”
Trembling, the jailer asked for light, entered, and fell down before Paul and Silas. Then he asked them, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
They answered, "Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
That same night, the jailer and all his family believed, were baptized, and were filled with joy.
💬 A message for you
Maybe you are also in a dark night.
Perhaps you feel the anguish of everything around you collapsing, that there is no way out, that you are imprisoned by fear, guilt, or pain.
But today, like the jailer, God is waking you up with a question that can change everything: "What must I do to be saved?"
The answer remains the same: Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. He is your salvation.
And not just you. God wants to save you... and your household.
Just as the jailer and his family were reached and transformed, God wants to save you and those you love.
Jesus is with you now.
He can change your story and that of your home. Just open your heart to Christ and pray these words with faith:
“Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I have sinned and that I need Your forgiveness.
I believe that You are the Son of God, who died for me and rose again to give me eternal life.
Today I believe in You. I receive You as my Lord and Savior.
Clean me, save me, and transform my life.
Reach my family with Your forgiveness and love as well. Amen.” 🙌🧡
